Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is dedicated to implementing programs of service that enhance the social, economic, and educational well-being of the local, national and international communities. Programs remain the heart of AKA. The size and scope of services provided to our communities have grown and significantly improve the quality of life for all who reside within our service areas.
All members of the Alpha Beta Omega Chapter are proud members of both the local GNO-ABO Charitable and Educational Foundation, Incorporated and the national AKA Educational Advancement Foundation, Inc. (AKA EAF). Members work tirelessly to support both foundations and make lasting marks on both our local and national communities.
The overall agenda for 2026-2030 is Championing Service, Empowering Sisterhood, Transforming the World.
Under the leadership of Mrs. Charletta Wilson Jacks, the 2026–2030 International Program of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is a bold and transformational call to action designed to strengthen communities, empower families, elevate future leaders, and expand the global impact of service.
Grounded in the organization’s historic mission of Service to All Mankind®, this administration advances a modern, measurable, and member-centered approach to service, one that is flexible enough to meet local community needs while scalable enough to create worldwide impact.
At the center of this administration’s work is the signature program: AKA Foster the Future: From Here to Hope.
The eight program targets include:
Educational Support and Advocacy
Advance educational excellence by creating equitable pathways to learning, leadership, literacy, and lifelong achievement for children, youth, families, educators, and underserved communities.
AKA Family Matters
Strengthen families and communities by promoting safety, connection, stability, preparedness, and multigenerational wellness through intentional engagement and supportive programming.
Health Awareness and Well Being
Improve the overall health and well-being of communities by increasing education, access, prevention, advocacy, and culturally responsive wellness initiatives for all ages.
Economic Growth and Success
Empower individuals, families, and communities to build sustainable wealth, financial stability, entrepreneurship, and economic opportunity through education, access, advocacy, and innovation.
Environmental and Sustainability Action
Promote environmental responsibility, sustainability, and community stewardship through education, advocacy, conservation, and action-driven initiatives that protect future generations.
Health Awareness and Well Being
Improve the overall health and well-being of communities by increasing education, access, prevention, advocacy, and culturally responsive wellness initiatives for all ages.
Arts Advocacy and Cultural Awareness
